Strategy and Performance Branch (Department of Education) implemented a Leadership Change Capability program to support senior leaders in their transition to their Business Intelligence (BI) Strategy. InspHIGHER was engaged to mentor leaders to drive the change and engage with staff to deliver on the strategy. We applied our unique leadership model to guide our interactions with 7 senior leaders across the branch.

We mapped public sector leadership competencies, individual performance agreements and the BI strategy to ensure personal capability and business outcomes were central to the mentoring process. We held a series of individual mentoring sessions (6x 1 hour) with each director. Face to face reports on the program were provided to the Branch leadership team. The aim of the reports were to highlight general strengths and developmental opportunities for the group moving forward.
